A few months ago I was working through the POWERS framework with a senior leader.
He came in absolutely certain the problem was his workload. Too much on. Not enough hours. Classic.
About halfway through the session he went quiet.
That was not something I said to him.
That was him seeing it for the first time. Because he had finally stopped long enough to look.
His Power Drain was not the business. It was the people around him outside of work. Relationships he had let drift so gradually he had stopped noticing the weight of it.
That is what this session does. It does not tell you what is wrong. It gives you the space and the structure to see it yourself. And then we build a plan around it.
